ROMCARBON SA has began the production of filters in 1962, being one of the first manufacturers of automotive filters in Romania. Over the past 50 years of existence of this sector, we have always adapted to the needs of our customers by updating and upgrading technology, by assimilating new products, combining in an effective way the experience of elder the with enthusiasm of the younger, preserving the tradition, but at the same time integrating the innovation, succeding in this way  to develop this sector in a business that has passed the test of time.

The manufacturing lines in this sector produce air, oil and fuel filters  for various brands of cars and trucks produced in the country or imported, and also filtration systems for various types of industrial equipment and machinery: gas compressors , vacuum cleaners and equipment for agriculture, the current portfolio totaling over 1, 000 types and sizes, with a monthly capacity of 500,000 units.

Activating on a dynamic and complex market, ROMCARBON offers to its customers fast adjusting to their requirements, assimilation of new models, short delivery time from ordering moment, utilisation of fast transport networks, and the quality is guaranteed by our qualified personnel, analysis in our own laboratories, technological flow permanently controlled.

The raw materials used to manufacture filters are purchased from renowned manufacturers such as Hollingsworth & Vose for filter paper, ARCELOR MITTAL STEEL for metal sheet, DOW and Henkel  for adhesives.

ROMCARBON follows and asks to its suppliers to commit to the application of the principles of good practice on sustainable development and social responsibility.

We maintain an Integrated Quality Management System  - Environment certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

The filters meet the legal requirements in force, fact proven  by maintaining the product certification for auto filters with Romanian Auto Register and certification of locomotive filters with Romanian Railway Authority. For the locomotive filters we mentain the Authorization of Railway Supplier.

The filters manufactured in ROMCARBON are used by major national companies such as DACIA AUTOMOBILE SA, OMV PETROM, CFR CALATORI, CFR MARFA, TRANSGAZ SA, ROMGAZ SA,  Private Transporation companies, etc
